On Facebook, the Ragin Cajun Cafe in Redondo Beach, California, posted surveillance video showing their employee get hit by the car, described as an older model Chrysler. In the post, the restaurant said the employee suffered only bruises and scratches.

The restaurant’s owner, Lisa Hodges, told KTLA the people in the car had been eating at the restaurant, ordering some of the more expensive items from the menu, and then left before paying their $90 bill.

Video shows the restaurant employee leave and run up to the car, where KTLA reported he asked the diners to pay for their bill.

Hodges told KCBS they have seen an increase in dine-and-dash robberies, especially with more people eating outdoors.

Redondo police told KTLA they are working to identify the suspects, who have not yet been caught.
