Woody Harrelson responds with poem for viral baby lookalike

There is always a debate about whether a baby resembles its mother or father. But when a woman in Northern Ireland posted a photo of her 9-month-old daughter and wondered why she resembled actor Woody Harrelson, the internet blew up.

On Wednesday, Dani Grier Mulvenna tweeted a photograph of her daughter, Cora, next to a picture of the three-time Academy Award nominee, Entertainment Weekly reported.

“OK but how does our daughter look like Woody Harrelson?” Mulvenna tweeted.

The tweet immediately went viral and has been retweeted more than 27,500 times. It has received more than 492,000 likes, according to “Today.”

Even Harrelson got into the act, sharing the tweet to his Instagram account on Thursday, along with a poem in the caption, according to People.

Harrelson titled his poem “Ode to Cora” and wrote:

“You’re an adorable child/

Flattered to be compared/

You have a wonderful smile/

I just wish I had your hair @danigriermulvenna.”

Mulvenna told “Today” that she never noticed the resemblance Cora had to the “Cheers” actor until a friend mentioned it.

“Basically we never saw the resemblance until our friend Chris pointed it out at a barbecue,” Mulvenna said. “Then once we took that photo of her laughing it was undeniable.”

In a follow-up tweet, Mulvenna wrote that, “Cora says, thank you all so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody (Harrelson), it’s just that when she does ... she really really does xxx.”
