ORLANDO, Fla. — A worker died Monday after he fell from the StarFlyer, an Orlando tourist attraction billed as the “world’s tallest swing ride,” WFTV reported.
Orange County firefighters responded around 7:40 a.m. to a call about a man down at the StarFlyer on International Drive, according to the news network. A 21-year-old man, who has not been identified by name, fell from the 450-foot tower after climbing it for a safety check, WFTV reported.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
Authorities are investigating the situation.
