ENUMCLAW, Wash. — Enumclaw officers responded early Sunday morning to reports of an officer who had been assaulted and needed medical assistance.
The officer was an off-duty King County Sheriff’s Office Deputy, according to police.
Enumclaw police said they assisted in the arrest of the two suspects who assaulted a deputy. They were arrested following a pursuit just before 2:00 a.m.
Video from Guardian One, King County Sheriff's helicopter, shows deputies pursuing the suspects down a two-lane road. The suspects pull over and get out of their car before surrendering.
The suspects were an adult male and a juvenile female.
Investigation is continuing, and all parties are cooperating, according to police.
The injured officer was treated at the scene and released for minor injuries.
