FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A registered sex offender is in jail after police say he targeted teens at Wild Waves Theme Park.

Duane Joel DeJesus, 33, was arrested last Saturday for voyeurism. Police say security guards at Wild Waves noticed his suspicious behavior.

They say DeJesus was using his cellphone to take videos of teenage girls. Investigators say he was focused on their crotches, and shot video up their skirts.

According to the police report when security guards questioned DeJesus he agreed to let them see his video. That video is the evidence detectives are passing on to prosecutors.

Investigators say DeJesus admitted to security guards he took the videos for sexual gratification and he was in counseling for it.

DJesus was convicted of voyeurism in 2007 for watching a teen girl through her window. Teens we talked to at Wild Waves were disgusted to hear about the incident.

“That’s gross. Who comes to a water park to do that?” said Jazzmine Hill.

Parent Jessica Ramirez was glad to hear security stopped him. “We’re in a public place. Now more than ever we have to keep our eyes open. I’m glad they got him,” said Ramirez.

DeJesus is in jail at the Regional Justice Center. His bail is set at $10,000. He's set to appear before a judge Thursday. If prosecutors file charges Wednesday, DeJesus won't appear in court.
