PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — An old wooden fishing boat, called “Tango,” sunk overnight in Port Orchard.
The 70-foot boat sunk within the Railway Marina.
The tank began spilling oil; divers are working to plug the fuel tank vents.
The oil is mostly in the Port Orchard Railway Marina.
Officials say some of the oil is making its way into the Sinclair Inlet.
It’s estimated that the boat holds several thousand gallons of oil, according to the Department of Ecology.
