BELLINGHAM, Washington — A Western Washington University student was killed Monday morning when he fell from the school's Nash Hall, The Bellingham Herald reported.
It isn't clear how the 18-year-old man fell. Officials told the Herald he landed on concrete near a tennis court behind the dorm.
The student's name has not been released yet, pending notification of family members, the university said in an email.
Police said they are investigating the case as a possible suicide but that the cause of death remains open until the Whatcom County Medical Examiner's Office finishes its investigation.
