Yacht Sinks in Lake Washington

SEATTLE — Emergency crews responded to a sinking boat late Monday night in the 4500 block of Lake Washington Blvd. South. The vessel was a 57-foot Chris Craft Yacht that was docked at Lakewood Moorage.

It was about half-way submerged in 10 feet of water. A boom was placed around the vessel to prevent a fuel spill. The scene has now been turned over to the U.S. Coast Guard. It is not yet know why the boat sank.
