ORIGINAL TEXT: After the Seahawks managed a last minute, 12-10 win in the home opener against the Dolphins, an ankle injury sustained by quarterback Russell Wilson has put his week two status in question.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that his sprained ankle considered to be a significant enough injury that he may not play in the game against the L.A. Rams.

Undrafted rookie Trevone Boykin is the only other QB on the roster.

After Wilson’s injury, the team initially thought he would be out of the rest of the game.

But he continued playing on a right ankle that twisted badly in the third quarter as he was sacked by Ndamukong Suh.  As he was going down, Suh clipped the back of Wilson's foot and caused the foot and ankle to turn awkwardly. Wilson limped through the possession before getting examined on the sideline and having his foot and ankle taped.

"We were ready to go with Boykin, but Russell jumped back out," coach Pete Carroll told the Seattle Times.

The NFL reports that after the game, Wilson shrugged off the injury saying, "I'll be all right. I'll be ready to roll (next week)."
