Ahead of Game 4 of Round 2 of the playoffs for Lord Stanley’s Cup, members of the Seattle Kraken Audio Network spoke with KIRO 7′s Chris Francis about what to expect from the Kraken against the Stars Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena.

“I think for this game you have to amplify your game more so,” Mike Benton said. Benton added the Kraken will need to get a fast start and find a way to keep those penalties down.

Francis asked about the players’ mentality going into a game one-up against the Stars, as opposed to going into a game one-down.

“The thing with the Seattle Kraken is they had to be desperate against Colorado,” Dave Tomlinson said. “In this situation, Dallas is already being desperate. They lost Game 1, came back in Game 2 and the Kraken didn’t play very well.” Tomlinson added he expects the Stars to play “big and heavy” tonight.

Francis asked what it will take for the Kraken to win Tuesday night.

Tomlinson said they will need to stay out of the penalty box. Benton said the Kraken’s big players show up against Dallas’ big players, specifically Beniers, Dunn, and goalie Phillip Grubauer.

Game 4 of Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs is Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena at 6:30 p.m.
