SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies announced Tuesday a return to full capacity at their stadiums for their upcoming 2021 seasons.
The Seahawks are welcoming fans back to Lumen Field, after receiving approval from the NFL and from Washington state and local public health officials.
“Can’t wait to see those 12s,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. “Can’t wait to see the 12s. I know they’re coming, I know somebody is going to be in those stands. Can’t wait to get you out there.”
Fans will not be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend games, although fans that are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks.
The Washington Huskies also announced Tuesday a return to full capacity at Husky Stadium for the upcoming 2021 season.
“We can’t wait to have our fans back at Husky Stadium,” said University of Washington head coach Jimmy Lake. “We need this place packed and rocking!”
