SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks completed a trade with the Houston Texans on Monday to acquire former all-pro left tackle Duane Brown, but the parameters of the trade have changed after Jeremy Lane failed his physical on Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

On Tuesday afternoon Schefter said Jeremy Lane failed his physical and the trade was amended. The full deal now is: The Seahawks will receive Duane Brown and a 2018 fifth round draft pick with the Houston Texans receiving a 3rd round pick from the Seahawks in 2018 and a 2nd round pick in 2019.

Jeremy Lane will now revert back to the Seahawks, and a subsequent roster move will have to be made to get within the 53-man roster limit.

Duane Brown played his first game of the season for the Texans in Sunday's loss against the Seahawks.

The 32-year-old out of Virginia Tech was a first round pick in 2008, and held out of the team's first six games this season hoping for a new contract.

Adam Schefter originally reported the Seahawks would send cornerback Jeremy Lane, a 2018 5th-round-pick and a 2019 second round pick to the Texans in the deal.

Seahawks General Manager John Schneider confirmed the trade to reporters Monday afternoon:

Jeremy Lane took to Twitter to thank Seattle for the opportunity:

The (5-2) Seahawks are currently in a first place tie in the NFC West with the Los Angeles Rams, but hold the tie breaker due to their 16-10 win on October 8th.

The Seahawks next play the (3-4) Washington Redskins on Sunday at CenturyLink Field.
