PRESTON, Wash. — One person was killed and a second person is in critical condition after a head-on collision in Preston Wednesday morning.

The crash happened on Preston Fall City Road near Southeast 68th Street. One driver, a 68-year-old man, died at the scene.  A second person was taken to the hospital.

At 11:10 a.m., the King County Sheriff's Office said the road would be closed for hours. The road reopened around 3 p.m.

Video from Chopper 7 showed a white sedan and a red pickup with severe front-end damage.

It is not yet known which vehicle crossed the center line.
