Steady rain has moved east of the area Momday morning, with spotty showers and increasing onshore wind.

We had impressive record rainfall totals Sunday, with Seattle reaching .65″.

The rainfall totals from here on out will be lighter, but there will be more rain on the way.

Monday morning, you’ll notice it’s breezy and windy, and we are mostly cloudy.

We’ll have on-and-off showers throughout Monday, with heavier rain in a convergence zone around Snohomish and Skagit Counties north.

That area will have heavier rain throughout Monday with just spotty showers everywhere else.

The wind will stay around 15-30 mph with gusts between 30-40 mph.

We’ve had gusts around 38 mph for SeaTac on and off all morning.

With the heavy rain from Sunday and the continued breezy to windy weather, downed limbs or trees are possible.

However, we do NOT have a Wind Advisory anywhere in our area.

Highs will stay cool in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

We do have Flood Watches flood watches for some area rivers that will be close to the Stage.

The flood stage of Atmospheric River Rain, although much lighter, will move in late tonight through tomorrow.

Most of the area will see around another .25″ up to an inch, with the heaviest rain at the coast and in the mountains.

It will end up feeling more like areas of rain or even showers because it will not be that steady wall of heavy rain we had move through Sunday and last night.

Highs will stay cool in the low-60s.

By Wednesday there will be a little moisture around in the morning, tapering off and we’ll have sunshine.

Highs will warm into the upper 60s.

From there the sunshine will continue through the weekend with temps warming each day through Saturday!

Highs for Thursday and Friday will be in the 70s with some low-80s possible even in Seattle by Saturday.

Sunday looks slightly cooler in the 70s.
